Annual Fund Update We have had a tremendous showing the past few weeks for the Annual Fund! Many thanks to all of you who have contributed! In these times of economic volatility, we understand and appreciate that you have many choices as to where to spend your disposable income— your willingness to continue to support Xavier is a testament to the great value of our Ignatian tradition. Thank you! For those of you have not yet contributed to the Annual Fund, we ask that you please do so prior to June 30th. If you have an outstanding pledge, please consider fulfilling it as soon as possible. We are rapidly gaining on our goal of $2,150,000 with $1,605,000 in cash and $1,725,000 in cash and pledges— but we still need your help. Xavier needs you—now more than ever. ________________________________________________________________ Gifts to the Annual Fund provide for operating expenses. Annual Fund gifts also help to increase endowed funds, financial aid and scholarships. It also supports facilities and the endowment. Gifts of every size help to sustain Xavier's tradition of excellence. Bridging the Gap is an opportunity for our current parents to make up the $3,000 difference between the actual cost to educate each young man and the tuition. Any gift from a current parent between $500 and $3,000 is considered Bridging the Gap. Donating to the Scholarship Endowment ensures that all of the dollars you give to Xavier will be specifically earmarked to help the students who are receiving financial aid or who have been awarded a scholarship. Any gift made to these funds is considered a charitable donation and is therefore tax deductible. Annual Fund Goal: $2,150,000 Participation Goal: 40%
