Juniors and Seniors compete for $10,000 college scholarship!
The Rockin' Refuel basketball trick-shot contest was an exciting day for students.

A group of 16 juniors and seniors put on their best show Thursday as part of the Rockin' Refuel Most Rockin' Shot trick-shot contest held in the Xavier gym, courtesy of Shamrock Farms. The event, held in the Xavier gym, kicked off the start of the 33 city Hoop it Up tour, where teams across the country will raise money for Coaches vs. Cancer

THE FINAL FOUR CONTESTANTS!

The event was hosted by ESPN commentator Jay Bilas, and after a show by the S.K.Y. streetball basketball team, 16 Xavier students did their best to impress a panel of six judges with some amazing basketball shots! In the end, four finalists were named - Adam Elfassi '10, Eddie Sullivan '11, Bobby Bruns '10 and Euroy Smith '10 - and Euroy Smith, the winner with a gut-shaking reverse slam dunk, walked away with a $10,000 educational scholarship!

"What better place is there to do this than a high school whose basketball program is well-known in the city?" Blake Atkinson, brand manager at Shamrock Farms said. "We were very happy to get the kids excited to compete in the contest, and providing an educational scholarship is really the whole point."

All Xavier juniors and seniors were at hand to cheer on their classmates, and they were also treated to some free gear, including t-shirts and bottles of Rockin' Refuel, Shamrock Farms' new product, which is a tasty vitamin-packed milk drink.
